All community contributed content to Readable is licensed under the Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0 license. You are free to share, remix, analyze and extend user created transcripts from Readable, as long as you follow the attribution requirements.
What are the attribution requirements?
In keeping with the spirit of sharing and proper attribution, and as the “attribution” part of the CC BY-SA license, we require that you do the following when you use transcript data, in part or in full, from Readable:
- Visually indicate that the content is from Readable. A discreet text blurp is sufficient on pages that contain transcript data from Readable.
- Direct link back to the original transcript URL on Readable (eg. http://www.allreadable.com/123456)
- Those links should be ordinary hyperlinks directly to the Readable site, without “nofollow” or any link shortening, link obfuscation or redirection.
